Dai Feng Appointed Newest Member of the Forsyth Institute's Board of Directors

Cambridge, Mass – February   12, 2018 – The Forsyth Institute, a pioneer in biomedical and oral microbiome research, today announced the newest member of its Board of Directors, Dai Feng, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of CareCapital Advisors Limited. Feng will bring a breadth of innovation and entrepreneurship to Forsyth’s Board of Directors. Feng has a long track record of supporting dental entrepreneurs, formulating strategy and process for commercialization of new medical technology, identifying talented executives for dental and medical companies, and financing startups and growth-stage companies.

At CareCapital, Dai leads efforts in developing and building a portfolio of successful dental companies across digital orthodontics, dental imaging and intraoral scanners, practice management software, dental distribution, dental service organization, training and education, and oral consumer health.   Prior to co-founding CareCapital, Feng was a partner of Warburg Pincus where he built and led healthcare investment in Asia. During his tenure, Dai nurtured a number of billion dollar market cap companies in cardiology devices, consumer health, plasma therapy and eye-care that became large and successful businesses. Earlier in his career, Feng has held several positions with Goldman Sachs Asia LLC and was involved in various software and engineering ventures in Boston. A graduate from Harvard University, Feng received a degree in engineering with a focus on computing science.
